Shame. I really liked Saab. My 00 9-5 was brilliant, if not as reliable as a honda

I feel for ya, but be completely honest. What was the total ownership cost of the 00 9-5 compared to a 00 Honda.

Hell, they've used the same 2 and 2.3l engines for almost 2 decades!

Only thing I had to replace was some crankcase sensor, ~$250

Im not saying it was a "good" car, I'm saying I loved it. I'll probably never own another car with heated rear seats

I don't doubt the love for heated rear seats... but as a driver, how does one love the backseats... unless...

It's a part of the car's charm ;)

just like the one cupholder. Useless for us fat americans and our big gulps, but cool

Who cares? Saab sucked donkey nutz. Good riddance.

Take a look at some of their car history and engine technology. They were just a name.

I agree. Terrible vehicles, terrible style, terrible reliability. Just an awful brand.

just like Oldsmobile...hahahaha

I also love my oldsmobile (still have both that and the saab, though neither in total running order), but mine is a far cry from the oldsmobile that got the hatchet

They certainly had more interesting vehicles and a brighter looking future than Buick.
I have no idea what Pontiac had in the works, but the 2010 Buick Lacrosse is the real deal and the Riviera looks like it's a winner also.
