The keyhole is not on the dash and the awesome cup holder.

When it's working, it's a great car :sneaky:

buddy has a 95 aero.

Even that is not really true. It was a decent car about 10 years ago...decent...that is all. Now-a-days...it falls short. The new one is again, a decent car, and that is all.

My brother-in-law has a 9-5 manual...believe it is a 2005. It is nothing to write home about.

agreed, everyone i know who has a saab has problems, and die hard saab fans ignore the fact that the 9-5platform is 10 years old. and the green interior looks like its from the 80's. their new models look ok i guess...

I miss my 2000 9-5

I thought I had blown a head gasket on a run to 145 (CEL came on a little later, when I checked oil the next morning it was all milky and shit). so I parked it and sold it later for $2k. The guy I sold it to just drained the oil, flushed it with new oil for like 50 miles, drained and filled again and its run great for 10k miles. Worst car mistake of my life

I own two 9-3's.

My sedan has been relatively problem free over the past 4yrs. The 'Vert has had a lot of minor issues over the past 2yr but warranty is in place.

Bought both gently used because of the massive depreciation and am really enjoying them.

GM really screwed the Company over the past few years and expect some really good products from Saab in the next 2-3yrs.

I just remembered Jeremy Clarkson recently wrote a piece on Saab in Toronto Star. will try to link to it.

Bummer, Murdoch owns London Time so no linking to article. Toronto Star paid for re-print rights but not online rights so no linky to article...

It's pretty messed up that everyone jumped on the OP for buying a car he's obviously a little proud to own. If he'd said he was considering the purchase that would be one thing, but after the fact it's bad manners, in my opinion, to insult someone's choice of vehicle.

You know how internet car forums are. If it's not a Veyron, Lamborghini, or Ferrari, it sucks, even when everybody in said forum rides the bus to school.
