Overhaulin' is on such a higher level than PMR. They actually do quality work, both mechanically and design-wise. But I guess PMR appeals to the current generation of "car guys" who value bling-bling more than actual substance.

Well, Pimp Mah Ride is also more likely to work on a car that a young person would own. Sure it's cool to see a car from the '50s go from junk to classic, but I'd much rather see them do ridiculous things to a CRX or a Ford Ranger...

Mind you, nothing as gaudy as the Pimp My Ride mods will ever touch any of my cars...

Pimp My Ride should be called Rice My Ride because that's all they do. Ricing, to me anyways, is when you make your car LOOK fast/cool, but in reality it's just stock parts under the hood. And I've never seen them do any work under the hood, so it'd be more accurate anyway.
