S_Video - RCA cable connection problem

hello guys..

i just bought a "s video - RCA" cable..
but i have got no idea why its not working..
in the sense that, i have hooked up my laptop to the tv with that cable but i dont see the visuals on my televison..

anyone has any idea how i could fix this problem?

Have you enabled the S-video out in your drivers?
 
oh dear.. i have no idea how i should do that..

i m using Acer 5560 n i have no clue to enable that option
 
There is sometimes hot function keys that control where the video output is going...on our Dells it's Function F4.

You can also right click on your desktop, go to properties and then advanced and there should be a tab you can select the output to go to.
