psu: 400wt antec smart power

what kind of figures should i be able to get while maintaining stability? 2.4ghz~?

2.3-2.4 is probably a good target; for limits, 2.7's been done with a TT Venus, so you'll likely be able to go quite high.

I have that mobo. It sucks for OC'ing. I think it has no pci/agp lock (at least that works) The best I can get stable is 2200. And I have PC3500 Kingston Hyperx PC3500 CAS2 !!!!

nah go msi k8n neo2 all the way. NO problems here getting my 3000+ winnie to 3800+ (2.43ghz) on air.
this is also my first system build, and first overclock. i would higheten your ram timings though unless its really good stuff. im running at 2.5-4-4-7 with Geil ddr500. good stuff, running at 270mhz at those timings.
