You're kidding right? Please tell me this was an argument with a friend and this thread is to support your side of the argument that they look nothing alike...

Hmm, I'll take an objective look at this.

Audi: rectangular rear window, angular tail lights, distinctive body lines and aggressive tail pipes.

Taurus: round jellybean shape, oval shaped rear window, rounded tail lights with no sharp corners or lines, no distinctive body lines anywhere, barely a hint of an exhaust pipe.

Verdict: You're out of your mind.

Expert opinion. OP Fail.

The back ends of both cars are completely different with the S4 being a lot better in my opinion. I voted no.

Trying to save your reputation on AT? ^_^ 😉
LOL, the truth behind the question is that that is what my girlfriend thought. She said that and my face drained of color. My friend and I test drove one this week. OMG, the car is so quick and luxurious.

The ONLY thing in common is the upward slant on the lower inside edge of the taillights, but everything is so drastically different I don't see how your girlfriend could make a connection.

Maybe your girlfriend or whomever was referring to the new 2010 Taurus rear end?

I would still vote "no", but I do think it is closer.
