Hi.
I just tried setting my BIOS to s3 standby. It seems to work properly when I do a standby then wake up my computer again in a few minutes. The computer turns on and is ready in ~1 second. However, if I were to leave the computer overnight on standby, the next day that I use it, the computer would boot up normally, rather than in ~1 second. I am guessing that perhaps no power is going to the ram? I also noticed that in standby, overnight or not, the red led on my optical mouse is left on, indicating that power is being supplied to the motherboard. There is also power to my usb when in standby. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this to work properly? Thanks.
