Hi guys. Just a quickie- im thinking of buying a second hand laptop (its a dell).

Now it only has a few months warranty left.

If it stuffs up after that warranty, how would you go about fixing it? Do dell offer a service where they fix it for a cost? Also is it possible to buy more warranty on it now?

Any idea of cost of fixing these?

And anyone know anything about the xps m1330?

Many thanks guys

Depends on what "breaks" after the warranty expires.

If RAM/HDD crap out on you, easily/cheaply replaced.

If CPU/GPU/mobo/etc die it's often cheaper to buy a new laptop than get it fixed.

I have a M1530, and I like it very much. Nice and solid (although it does run warm). However I wouldn't go for the 1330, as I couldn't stand the tiny screen.
