WHile this a bit off topic, men here in the US are very weird. I mean I've lived in Turkey, Greece and France. Friends over there throw their hands over one's shoulder... speak freely about anything, talk about anything. But here in the states it's so ackward. You shake a guys hand or hug another friend and your brandished as a peter puffer. You guys are so uptight... I'm generalizing here but there's no bond or real closeness between friends in the US. There's always a feeling of solidarity and selfishness... it makes me sick...

Yes, we are selfish and alone because we don't hug other men. If we aren't comfortable with it, and it will be interpreted wrong, then why should we do it? I like my friends just as much as my family and trust them with my nuts and a hammer. I don't need to hug them to show them that.

i'm not one to say another guy is cute, but i have hugged other guys... they were friends... unfortunately, i've hugged more guys than girls.. girls just wont socialize with me..

Watching a bunch of pretty boy bitch magnets do all the damage was slightly part of the problem, had the charictars had an ounce of depth to them the movie might not have been so bad. It's like the movie ran entirely off of image, bad asses with no feelings of course, making the good guys seem just as shallow as the bad guys.

Edit: Asking if someone is gay does not make me a homophobe. It makes me a question-asker. Don't get bent out of shape. Even if I didn't like gay people, it wouldn't be a phobia, it would be an opinion. If I ask you if you are a Turk, would that make me a turkaphobe?

There are men like this all over the world and most people hate the "in crowd" groupie bunch just as much as you do so get over yourself and choose your groupie's wisely.
 
But back to the topic - I actually really wanted to see this movie, the previews are saweeet. But perhaps I'll wait till I can rent it.

Seen Bad Boys 2, seen SWAT. Of the two SWAT was much better, IMO. The action wasn't as over the top and outlandish. The humour wasn't NEARLY as excruciating. I liked the cast more, though Jackson just seemed to be playing the type, not really getting into the role. Sure there were some flaws in it, but they weren't nearly as glaring as other movies this year. I didn't come out thinking it was one of the greatest movies of the year, but I didn't come out feeling taken by a hyped up marketing machine either. Not quite the best thing out there, but no where near the worst.

i finally saw the rest, thought it was decent🙂

and yea, i also thought it was better then bad boys two, which was really drawn out and totally unbelievable. that in itself wouldn't be bad, but there was some really bad writing at times..gag worthy.

no bad acting in swat, and well the fights were pretty good🙂

i dunno why the guy shot a hole through the roof entry at the start though. why did he do that? to shoot anyone hiding under? didn't seem like a lock.

i guess colin really is a chick magnet though, the fawning from the girls and leaning forward in chairs was amusing🙂

michelle rodriguez has never looked better though, or maybe i've only seen movies where she looks really grungy🙂


the underworld chick is kate beckinsale🙂

I liked how he loaded a new mag into that 1911 after supposedly running dry and kept firing with the slide forward.
