hey

I have a laptop and and my main computer, and the s-video cable I have works great when I use it with my laptop, but I want to be able to also use the tv out that I have on my main computer, except that the s-video out has the wrong number of pins for my cable. Here are two pictures, one of my laptop's s-video connector and the other of my main computer's:

And here's my other computer's:

Anyone know what this other s-video connector is that's on my main computer and where I can either get another cable or another adapter for it so I can hook it up to my TV? Thanks in advance!

The Leadtek card only has video input, not output. Oops, actually I guess it depends on which model you got. It appears that the output function (like with many VIVO cards) uses a proprietary cable for the connection to the card itself, and then that cable has connectors on the other end that allow the connection of either S-video or RCA for the video input or output functions. The cable should have come with the card.

I recall the Leadtek coming with a proprietary s-video to rca (composite) converter for the "TV".

There should have been an opaque blue split cable that came with your leadtek. It had the S-video and RCA jack leads you are looking for. You need this cable to use the video out functions of your card.
