My video card has S Video out, but my old crappy TV only has coax input. Is there any adapter i could get for this? I guess I might be able to find a VCR with a S Video in, but I'd rather not.

I have no idea. Try searching on google. If they don't sell such adapters, you can buy a s-video -> rca composite adapter, then hook that up to an rf modulator.

you could get an svideo to rca cable i believe, and then use a vcr or rf modulator to hook it up to coax then to TV

You can go from s-video to RCA to coax. They do make some RCA to coax adapters, I believe.

Why wouldn't it? He's just sending video. As long as he doesn't want to send audio and video to the TV, he shouldn't have a problem.

I've seen these used before and it should work just fine...and for $1.79 to me it'd be worth a shot.

i had the same problem trying to hook my lappy up to my tv.
the guy at radio shack said that there's no way to go from svideo to coax. :(

needless to say, I still tried a bunch of different combinations of adapters/vcr and such, but to no avail, not even the just the video.

However, that was a while ago, so maybe they've figured something out by now.

heres what I do:

I have S-video out on my GeForce 3, but it came with an s-vid. to rca, so i use the rca to a vcr that i found in a recycling bin (FREE!) and out to tv. ALso in to my free dazzle creator :)
