S-video plug question

Mo0o

Lifer
I have a MSI 9800pro that has a s-video out that looks something like this:

..o..o..o
o..o..o..o
....o..o

In essence, its 3 then 4 then 2 holes for plugs. But most s-video cables looks like this:

..o..o..o
o..o..o..o
....==

Where the bottom 2 holes are replaced with what looks like a solid bar. Are there converter cables for this kind of t hing and is this something that only MSI does?

You should have a dongle that came with the card. The top also carries the composite signal, hence the extra two pins.

I'm at college right now and i think i left the cables at home. would a store like bestbuy carry them?

You must have the VIVO card. Like they said you should have a dongle and on that there should be like 4 I/O's one if which is SPDIF IN and one is SPDIF Out, then 2 other things i cant remember.
