Game over.

Wonder if his tombstone will include his WoW character name? (or whatever game is now lacking its most devoted fan)

CS:S = 14hrs
LOZ😱OT = 23hrs
Civ2 = 38 hours

heh

CS:S was a month or so ago.....was walking on water, couldnt miss with any shot, u think im gonna stop playing while im pwning every server i walk into?...lol

the other two, Legend of Zelda and Civ2 were many moons ago while i was still smoking pot........i was an active person then (meaning i went out a lot in the evening, pubs, clubs, dinners, parks, etc) but i also liked to have game sessions, get in an oz for the night and just keep going....heh

actually, i think at one point i did a 17 hour run on half life........3 hours im sad to say were spent replaying the ninja ladies again and again trying to kill them all without taking any damage....lolol

edit: oh, i should mention that i was emotionally, physically and mentally prepared in advance for long game sessions due to many 30hr AD&D and Vamp:The Masquerade tabletop roleplay sessions in my teens...heh...not to mention plenty of nights clubbing till 6am after working all day previous.....*sighs* no way i could handle that stuff now..lol

Damn ... I can only handle so much of sitting down in front of the screen ... my eyes need a break after 4 hours or so. I suppose if I got myself a better monitor, it might not be an issue. I'll have to talk to the wife about that ... 😉

wuss.

last person i heard of this happening too (again... korean) played CS for like... 60-80 hours i think.

the weird thing... they don't seem to have any problems until they actually stop. that's when it catches up with them.

lol, I checked some korean sites and this guy was playing starcraft when he dropped dead

this isnt news, it happened before

that was last december. and he only played 8 hours straight... what a wuss.

nah, there was another guy, cant remember if korea or elsewhere, he did something similar, around 40 hours or so, then dropped dead once he got up......that was in Feb this year i think......

i dont normally only play games for an hour or so, it usually a 4hr or 10 hr stint, that way you actually get in to it......i dont do the longer ones that often now tho, other than when im on a roll on CS:S, then getting on at 11am saturday and finishing 7am Sunday with the occasional 2 hour break for lunch and reading, then dinner and a DVD...heh, so not consecutive playing, but around 16hrs over the space of a day devoted to gaming...
