S@H data server down

I'm still showing it down...roughly 6 hours now (as I have 3 WU waiting to be UL on most of my machines).

Data Server Status
The data server machine is currently down
For the past 8 minutes, the server machine has been either powered off, taken off line, or is in the process of rebooting. Please try back again soon.

According to their server status page (8 minutes obviously isn't right).

And now an update 🙂

Data Server Status
The data server process is not running
Right now the data server machine is up, but the process that actually serves the data is not running. This is probably because we're in the middle of upgrading the server software, or preparing for a quick reboot. These outages are usually brief (10-15 minutes). Please try back again soon.

Just a few minutes go (20:50 UTC), it was reported as being up, but dropping connections. I've seen the F end of my queue flush (as in FIFO), but am adding finished WU's faster than they are flushing because of the dropped connections.

I managed to make sure all my WU got sent before the end of the day (had a fair amount waiting to get sent), so hopefully everyone else did as well, so that we don't have too bad a day. :|

I'm in Shreveport, but my comcast Cable and telephone are down at home in Georgia. 🙁 Then when I tried to get WU for my stuff here I had problems. They did have a problem with a server's CPU dieing as RoninCS reported. But, they are giving out WUs IF you can get in. It has taken a number of retries, but I finally dumped my stuff here.

I was wondering what was going on... seems like it's been really flakey the past couple of days. It doesn't seem to want to send them automatically... when I click stop transmit, and then transmit, it does it. Very odd. Maybe I should let it finish the WU's I have right now and then reinstall SETI Driver. I had a problem the other day where it wouldn't budge from 0% even with Windows showing CPU usage at 100%... so I deleted the WU it was working on, and it took off crunching again.

Funny you should mention a transmit problem ,my little brother had the same problem on our fathers rig,& that rig connects to SETIQ on his rig 😕

I'm still having to manually transmit my completed WU's... any suggestions on what to do? Should I finish my queue and then reinstall and reconfigure SETI Driver?

Sometimes an enema is necessary. 😛 😀

They're all the same size... 340 kb when they get sent... but it won't send them automatically.

Little off topic.
Noticed it says i386 command line... wouldn't it be beneficial for it to make use of MMX or SSE or 3DNow instructions?
