I think your jumping the gun big time ,I quote from Smokeball
Unusual production from BBR - uniquecp?
Notice he did not say nor implie cheat ,he merely stated unusual production ,this could be from legite reasons or otherwise.
Going by the links supplied by Smokeball it would seem that the production is legite ,from a large dump.
You (& some others) are rather over sensitive atm(understandably) as a result of the cheating scandals that have hit all our teams 🙁 ,bear in mind if someone had said 'Unusual production from xxxx' prior to the scandal would you of reacted this way??
Actually Assimilator1, I have to disagree. Why would Smokeball have to publish ANYTHING publically about his detection of 'unusual output' from one of our members? Why would or should this behavior be encouraged at any level? If the links that Smokeball quoted were so harmless, then why even bring this up at all?
If we have learned ANYTHING from the recent witch hunts, it should have been the lesson of caution. Caution in even subtly implying that anyone has done wrong without knowing for sure. I have lurked in your forum's long enough to know that for everyone of us you label as 'over sensitive' there are just as many on the other side as well who could be labeled as over reacting also.
The point is, as it always has been that making accusations in any way without legitimate proof is slanderous. Think about this for a minute:
Had someone on another team publically stated that for instance Baldy18 or Crazee's, or YOUR production output was monitored and found to be 'unusual output', would not the very act of labeling that output as 'unusual' when the person is not known very well by the member(s) of the team making the statement, be found to cause an atmosphere of anger fueled by someones OPINION? That is what this comes down to ultimately in the end....opinion, and as such, some opinions, for the greater good of the project as a whole, rather than individual ego's, should be handled more discretely.
As I said earlier, we welcome the scrutiny as we have always strived to do and be the best we can be....the right way, so when these types of things come up, of course some of us are going to get bent while others will care less.
Had Smokeball privately went to Kinguni and voiced his opinion(s) then this whole discussion would be moot. Smokeball chose to go public before making sure of the veracity of what he was saying, and as such has opened this up for scrutiny from others. Defend him if you must out of team loyalty, but what he did today was IMHO wrong.
