1st! - Not a bad day's output...but a few of the other teams beat us! :(

We seem to be gaining daily on O?Grady?s Macs, but it will take a few months to catch them.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Thanks HB!

Hmmm....OCN (OverClockers Network) Doesn't look like a threat for a LONG time. But, they do have a front page link for the S@H team and they give away prizes. Their latest prizes are:
Celeron 400a, HP Polar Orb, and Peltier. Not great, but an incentive.

CTho9305: Why do you not allow your Profile to be viewed? It would be nice to know a little about you! We are not hiding our identites. Just wondering?

Thx HB

Hehe ,come get us!:p ,we'll setup a BBQ while we wait for you to catch us ;)

Beer anyone? :)
How long do you reckon it'll take you to close a 200K WU gap?

JWM
Abit were offering prizes too ,I take it you noticed there defections recently?

Thanks HB & FD :)

<<So I finally broke down and got my p2 233 @ 292>>

danzigrules, why only 292mhz? I had my P2-233@336mhz up until yesterday (It'll do 351mhz with a .1v increase (unfortunately it's in a mobo with no voltage adjustment). I swapped it out with my C300a@375mhz (won't do 450mhz without bumping the voltage). I'm guessing you must be running it on an LX mobo and that's why you stopped at 292mhz.:)

danzigrules, I've got an Asus LX mobo myself that will hopefully be going back on line soon with a C366 @ 458mhz. BTW it's the most stable mobo I've ever owned, even at 83mhz fsb.:)

Well I wonder how this will work? Put my c 466 into the lx mobo, and the p2 into the bx6 mobo. That way I could up the voltage on the p2, but I don't think I can get the 466 up to 83 fsb on the lx mobo.

Oh well might try it and see.

Looks like I can 2 w/u out the 233 and 4.5 out of the 466 right now.

Who knows what I might do:confused:

I'm getting about 9-11 hours/WU on a C433 on a i440LX mobo. Blade, you should get pretty good WU times because of the increased FSB.

BTW, I'm running CAS2 RAM.

danzigrules, I had to decase my P2-233 to even get it to run at 292mhz it was just getting too hot. After poping the case off and reinstalling the retail hs/fan it does 336mhz (112fsb*3) at the default voltage.

Mine running on an LX mobo is multiplier locked. But running on a BX or ZX mobo @ 100mhz or higher fsb it's unlocked. Thanks to the b21 trick. Some motherboards do this automatically. My BX6r2 has the hi/low sel (I think that's what it's called in the bios) that unlocks the cpu.:)

At 336mhz I averaged 10.2 hours with cas3 ram on my last 11wu's. I ran it at 117fsb*3 for awhile but can't remember the times I got. It seems like they were around 9:??hrs when it was running @ 100fsb*3.5 cas2.:)

Ah ha! ,thats probably why mine won't go over 293 MHz ,its OK at 293 though.I think I'll have to strip it ;)

Assim1 getting my P2-233 running in the buff really helped it out alot.;)

Another thing was Intel had a thick layer of goop they call thermal grease. I'd call it silly puddy, it was the thickest stuff I've ever seen.:frown: I scraped it off and put a thin layer of some decent thermal grease back on before I put everything back together.:)
