It always sucks to lose someone with that many WU's. I hope whoever it is is just changing names or something and will be back. I don't recall seeing any posts by a &quot;crazydude&quot; since I've been posting on this forum.

6th... Thanks HB!

What prompts folks to leave such a great TeAm? We have lost two 1,000+ members in the last few weeks (See list here.) Should we have a mailing periodically to our TeAm members letting them know how we are progressing and inviting them to visit the forum. This could be something like a monthly newsletter. I assume that the TeAm leader has the email IDs for all members. It could include recruiting tips and monthly milestones, etc. Paulson seems to want something to do so he might be interested in running this.

Just wondering...
 
On of the two losses was just a name change. we actually haven't lost all that many members over the last little while. Sometimes interests change. Since I can't find any posts from the person who just left, it is very hard to tell what the reasons could be.

Question, if someone joined TA seti there wu carry over to the team and if they leave, the team loses them.?
Doesnt seem fair. Well ide like to join. I dont have
as many wu as crazydude but close. Should have alot more
but started with a p233 with with srceen saver on, 50-60
hour wu. Now using t-bird@872 with about 5hr. wu
4.5hr on good days.Ive been in the backround a few
weeks and you guys seem to be a great bunch, so show
me the light.
ps, i started seti may 99 and kind of forgot my password
how can i get it.

Go to the seti@home site and then go to the user info area. On that page there is a link which says &quot;forgot your password&quot; click this and it will
lead you thru the process, they will e-mail you your password.

Works great if you have not changed your e-mail, I think.

If you need your e-mail address, it can be found in the userinfo file, which is in your seti directory. Just open the file as a text file, it is about
the third or fourth entry. 🙂

Hi MuuMuu - Sure, we would be glad to have you join the TeAm! Most of us started small, but then the STATS got to us and we started adding more and more ships to our fleet (Assimilation.) Regardless or your output we want you to join as this is a TeAm effort!🙂😀🙂😀
