You'd think I would learn the difference between the "Edit" button and the "Reply" button by now...  Apparently not.

For my stupidity, I don't deserve the First post...

Ben98SentraSE: Nope, I'm an idiot so I don't deserve the First post today so it's all yours! Cool to hear you're increasing your production. We need it! :)

Wow, our numbers suck but everyone around us suck even more. Looks like this will just make our climb take a little longer than before the client change but at least we're still climbing...

Thanks Hellburner!

Our numbers don't "suc". We're just seeing the effect of everyone switching to the 3.03 client. Since everyone is slower, the numbers for everyone are lower.

We're also seeing the effect of a little teething pain as the new beta version of setiq is tested.

Thanks for teh stats!

Yep, If others are going through the "teething pain" I am using the new setiq beta 2, then I expect that quite a few people aren't quite producing as much as they are able.

In my case I use setispy and clis and using setiq on a static ip box. I keep finding setispy saying "idle". When I check on the client it isn't even running, and I have to restart it. Upon restart it immediately downloads a new WU and no result_header is found. My guess is that it uploads the finished results but doesn't download a new one (or can't). This happens whether I am using my setiq proxy or directly connecting to berkeley.

Any ideas. I thought about starting a new thread, but the hardcore people check this one everyday.

Update: Just downloaded beta3. We'll see how she goes.

artemedes - there's a beta 3 of setiqueue available. I haven't tried the new setiqueue yet (still using an old one), but you may want to give it a shot to see if it helps...

artemedes: I have had the same problem. I am using SetiDriver with SetiSpy and SetiQ. I assumed the problem to be SetiQ since a new WU did not download. But, I do have new copies of all SETI related executables and my machine is overclocked by ~60%. So, which one is the culprit?

Well I downloaded the beta3, we'll seee how it goes.

JWM- I have had the stoped client on all the machines running the 3.03 cli. But my first guess was that it was related to setiq. Last weekend my setiq at work crashed, so I pointed the home clients to the berkeley servers and same thing happened. So not sure where exactly the culprit is, but I don't rule out the cli client itself. Maybe I need to just reload it.

I couldn't get RC5 running on my work computer. Something to do with the proxy. So I thought I would do SETI instead. At least it's for the team. :) Oh.... And I am Wolf4dk. Just so you all know. It's my IRC nick.
