Hi Guys! I figured I'd let you know I joined the TeAm today. I'm looking forward to helping out any way I can, bringing 3 machines with: P4- 2.6, Amd Athlon XP-1.6, and an old but trusty HP 933mg. Right now I'm crunchin' about 11.15 WU a day, so hopefully that will help. I'm bringing 707 WU with me.

Thanks!!
I was nosing around your boards today and you seemed like a great bunch, and I saw you're trying to get ahead of BBR. I figured I would help out a little.;)

I just went into all my 'puters to SETISpy and I noticed that today I'm going to have 17 WU to contribute. 8 from the P4, 6 from AMD (laptop), and 3 from ol' 933. I'm running CLI with Spy and SETI Driver on all 3. Any way you know of to maybe "help" them out a little?

Yeah, don't use them. :p

:D

Nice additions to the team! :D

Every WU counts! :)

(I myself contribute an average of 14 a day when they are all up and running)

Welcome Tom!

According to Smoke's stat page, we have 2206 inactive members. Is there a way to mass email (not spam, it's evil) but contact them and tell them to put out some more WUs in the final days? That'd be a lot of members with a huge potential gain to drop BBR. Any chances??

Thanks!! Happy to be here!:) Yeah, I noticed there are a lot of inactives. They put their e-mail in when they signed on, can't they be e-mailed to see what's up and try to solicit their help?

Yep we did that about 2yrs ago ,it was hard enough doing individual (ish) emails for 500 odd people let alone over 2000!:Q ,nice idea but its a lot of work & the return is very small ( I think we got about 10+ active again). We're better off spending the energy on new recruites:)

Welcome Tom:D
