Thanks ASS1,

I'm never gonna catch you though. Good work. I'm probably at my maximum for the duration. I can't justify anymore computer expenditures. But I'm Keeping a close eye on the forsale forum. Maybe I can get something cheap there to upgrade my fourth computer from a p200mmx. I'd really like to find a cheap motherboard that would let increase the voltage on my 300a@374 so that it will do 450. Then I could put a 600 katmai on the current celeron board. That would give me an additional 2 WU's day. Or alternatively a cheapy dual board then I Could scoop up a cheapy 300a and a 600 katmai. That would be cool.

Hymy

You may catch me sooner than you think.I lose the Athlon 700 24/7 next weekend (nearly 4WU's/day).

My friend who is running SETI for me will stop running it altogether soon :( ,when he reinstalls the OS he won't re-install SETI :( *sniff* ,I dont know why yet.

I have already lost the K6-2 500 16/7 ,I shall also lose the PII 333 @ 375 24/7 soon & the PII 350 @ 392 is rarely on these days & will also be lost

BTW have you considered the pin taping trick to up the voltage on your 300a ?

I'm inclined to try pin taping, but several things have put me off. I'm still not sure how I'm supposed to get teflon tape to stick to the pins. And If if go for 2.2 volts which is i beleive the next step up that you can get with pin taping. There is one pin that if it comes untaped it'll fry the chip with something like 3.5 volts.
