All China needs to do to win this war, is blockade Taiwan.
That's it, game over. Hold and strangle the island to death.

But a blockade does not need to be hard with ship sinking.
Instead, China is now enacting TODAY a soft blockade against Taiwan. This is an act of war.

China is asserting physical control over Taiwan now, and entangling shipping in a way that can and will eventually grow into an effective blockade even if no ships are sunk and "technically" ships "can" pass if China allows it. Today they will slow down shipping. Tomorrow they may deny it entirely, or the shipping companies will avoid the area and no longer insure passage. This situation is a snowball rolling down hill. China's actions today are a physical conflict over the control and existence of Taiwan.

They do not have the capability to blockade. Like 80% of world's largest ship by tonnage and more than 40% of world container fleet go through Taiwan Straight.

Ray Dailo is an investment banker like a Warren Buffet. He owns BridgeWater Associates which is worth Billions. Anyway, in the video Ray talks about how great countries begin, gain power, and in the end self destruct. There are 6-steps. In the end, the once great power is challenged by another upcoming great power. Today, that would be China. Its basically history repeating itself. We can see that today. Look at what made America great in the 20th century. Education. Production of Goods. The Middle Class. Cohesion between Political Parties. And so on. Today, the decline in America is real. 1. American education is in shambles. We are falling seriously behind other advanced nations. 2. We don't produce as much anymore, which in turn has diminished the chance at a good paying job for many Americans. 3. The middle class has been eroding for decades. The gap between the wealthy and everyone else has been widening. And will continue to get worse. 4. Democrats and Republicans do not get along. That in-turn weakens America.

But, the final reason America will fall from grace is the fact that we have produced more dollars over the last 2-3 years, than ever in the history of America. The American dollar has been weakened. And so, within the 6 step process towards self destruction America is in the final 6th step. It can take 20 years, or 50 years before we start to fully notice our decline. This brings me to China. A superpower that wants to desperately overtake America. IMO, they are buying time. Waiting... The issue China is having currently is the low birth rate, and so this will push the Chinese into action probably within the next decade. We als have many issues. The fact that America has gotten terribly soft. Over 75% of young men today are unable or unwilling to perform in the military (health, mental issues) if we needed them to serve. If history has the final say, we will probably fail to contain China. It was bound to happen anyway.

I blame Richard Nixon...who "opened" China...and the greedy corporations who took advantage of China's cheaper labor and non-existent environmental laws, giving China access to untold technology they couldn't have otherwise acquired...and buckets upon buckets of cash.
Fuck China...and fuck those who send their manufacturing to China.
