EBay requires all sellers to have at least 30 day warranties, and on some new products 90 days. It's just there as a way to reflect EBay's policy, these seem to be new in box retail CPU's. This also made front page of slickdeals so that's probably why they sold out lol

I actually got a SLICKDEALS alert email at 11:45 AM EST....... I had setup a Ryzen "keyword" alert if anything above 3 stars.

Slickdeals hordes (in a good way, no hate) can make/break sold out status....Many folks there however are scalpers :(

Update : I enquired with the Ebay Seller , and they confirmed that the Ryzen is a new in box CPU that comes with standard AMD warranty. The 90-day information is purely for refurbished items (which this CPU is not)

Isnt the stock Wraith Cooler considered quite good? Just curious if you are looking at going AIO/Water Cooling with the savings.

I was planning on using stock cooler, so If I'm missing out on some important detail please let me know.
Its really fine unless you oc. I was surprised.
Not comparable to a bad Intel boxed cooler. If you oc save for a far more powerfull cooler.

The Wraith is excellent, or at least it used to be. Rather than there being the one excellent Wraith there are now a few tiers. And the entry-Wraith that comes with the 1700 certainly isn't bad but it isn't a 212 either.

If you're not gonna OC though this is only a 65w CPU, so it'll more than suffice.
