Rye bread simply rocks.

Rye is great for cold cuts, but if you mix up your sandwiches during the week with PB&J, you can't beat the versatility of whole wheat.

Negative!!!

Rye makes PBJ special. Growing up it was white bread almost all the time. Every so often, I'd get a rye PBJ for lunch, and lunch would be super awesome that day. Now I do my own shopping, and it's rye 97% of the time. I'll throw some pumpernickel in every so often for variety.

The only drawback to a good Reuben is that you better not have any sort of public/social function to attend for the next 4 hours immediately afterwards.

it's good. but why the small loafs?

They're 1# loaves. The bread's denser, so it doesn't take up as much room as the air puffed crap that sells well in the stores.
