Very cool stuff, Marty. I had totally forgotten they had a statue there. Pretty awesome! I'm lazy/not good at metric conversions- how many feet tall is that?

Golden Ring is what Russia is all about. I think if you want to see Stalingrad (Volgograd), and the golden Ring, the best way to go is to take a river cruise on the Volga.

Gotta add that to my "list of places to visit". What's the golden ring all about though? never heard of it.

The Liberty Statue in Budapest is awesome, as well. That picture isn't the best, but it's huge and can be seen for miles since it's on top of a hill. I'll see if I can find some better pictures of it.
