Russians are crazy

Ever since they got rid of those "government only" middle lanes...

Also, this looks like something I would do in GTAIV.

If he's not jammin' those tunes through some speakers, while he's riding through the city like that, then I'm totally not impressed!! 😉

That bike is worth about a million $$ over there.....

Back in the late 70's and early 80's, we had a group of guys that rode together. We were all from NW Indiana. We'd get together late at night on the weekends and everyone would throw $50 or $100 in the pot and the first one to a bar in downtown Chicago would snag the pot. Not real smart, but hey, it's what we did. About a 1 hour drive at the speed limit, but you needed to bust 30 minutes if you were gonna be a contenda....Had to average better than 100mph back then. And we were riding Kawasaki KZ1000's. Suzuki GS1000's, Honda CB750's, etc. Not the great handling sport bikes of today.....

One of my neighbors had a Honda CBX, not the fastest bike but damm it was a sexy looking beast with that straight six on it..

That came out in 1979, and the original ones were imported from Japan and had approx. 140 horsepower. Those were beasts! Jardine made a set of pipes for it, and with the pipes, and re-jetted, there was nothing faster. Then about mid '79, Honda had to cut the horsepower back to 108 for some US regulation. They sounded wild with the header on it.

I had a 1978 GS1000 Suzuki, with a Kerker pipe on it, re-jetted, and a Barnett clutch. It would run with the best of them. One guy had a CBX and it would slowly pull away from me. It was heavy, though.....

Pfft...way more awesome in Bangalore. Everyone here rides like that, daily. Add to that potholes the size of craters, cows, buffaloes and retarded traffic rules. Riders here have no respect for traffic signals either.

They would also gently close your side-view mirrors to create space for their bike. Or break it completely.

I don't trust other people enough to ever do something like that. It's one thing to be confident in your abilities and something else altogether when you factor in other humans. I guess he was relying on going too fast for people to ever do anything stupid trying to react to him.

More like he is too damn stupid to rely exclusively on his ability. The world is full of such morons that don't grasp the gravity of the situation. There's plenty of footage on the net showing stunts going bad. Most if not all of those people were used to do those things and one day it went bad. Just like I said, morons. The next thing you see is them crying and swearing they wish none of that has happened.

I remember an Oprah show with such a "confident" guy killing a mother and her child on the road while texting on his new mobile.

...and they never learn
