In what law enforcements officials portrayed as an extraordinary takedown of a Russian espionage network, the Justice Department on Monday announced charges against 11 people accused of living for years in the United States as part of a deep-cover program by S.V.R. -- one of the successors to the Soviet-era K.G.B.

Sure glad Obama just "reset" relations with them.

The word is 'Chinese'. 'Chinamen' is an insulting, pejorative word. Or did you mean racism?

Don't worry, our resident beloved patriot knows no racial hatred. He assumes every Asian (except himself of course, as he knows his own gookness) is Chinese. He loves Jews, but that's about it.

Where is Moonbeam and his self-hate theory?

What the fuck are you talking about? The chinaman is not the issue here, Dude. I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, Dude. Across this line, you DO NOT... Also, Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature. Asian-American, please.

Ever wonder what those huge antennas on the Canadian embassy in D.C. do? :)

LOL!!! Obama's Justice Department finds spies, and you complain that Obama has been befriending Medvedev and taking him to burger joints?

So what would you prefer, that we nuke them? Make Medvedev pay Obama back for his burger? Have you ever considered the possibility that "resetting" relations is exactly what we need, because it's better to have friends than enemies? Bush didn't put on this wizard robe and pal around with Putin because it was FUN.

LOL, judging by leaking reports, those spies where some real schmoes, took orders from FBI "handlers" that introduced themselves over internet? Hehehe, FBI must be running low on their spy-catching statistics, these "illegals" sound as dangerous as those "terrists" they netted in Florida.

The charges themselves are quite comical. Conspiracy to commit money laundering, and failure to register as agents of a foreign government. As spy cases go this is a big yawner.

Oh, and they used steganographic image coding! ZOMG! It's "advanced"!

I heard they had a tap on Britanny Spears cell phone, and were about to crack Lady Gaga's inner circle, and may even have pictures of her penis.

I love the way the United States takes the high road by naively suggesting that foreigners should register with the justice department if they are involved in espionage.

This is the same country that glamorizes the whole spy game in countless Hollywood movies.

If you think about it, espionage is much cheaper then doing the actual research. Even if you're doing the research anything learned can put you ahead by months or years. It makes sense to send spies, probably even better tor recruit people already there than send your own.

Wait. I thought it was the illegal Mexicans we had to worry about. Now it's the legal Russians? Make up your mind!!

No one is suggesting that spies should register. It's a crime and they committed it.

You're basically saying that because spies will be spies, it's unreasonable to outlaw espionage. What, you're asking spies not to spy because it's illegal? So we shouldn't prosecute them?
