Russian analyst: U.S. will collapse next year

This is the same guy who said the United States will split into different regions?
I think he's completely wrong. It wouldn't happen in 1 year, and I think the U.S. wouldn't suddenly collapse, but could lose its "superpower" status.

Isn't this a repost of sorts? There was a thread a month or two back about some dude saying the US was going to implode and china taking over.

The Roman Empire was immense, and it failed. Don't think we are too big for that as well. I still don't think we'd suddenly collapse though. The world is too entangled and it would take time.

Same guy, but I think he moved his timetable closer.

If the US collapses Russia will implode into nothingness.

Oil is 1/3rd of it's price from summer last year and the Russian stock market has all but eaten itself.

Difference being that Putin has reporters that report such bad news assassinated...

I agree with the moral decline. The US will not fail next year, but our economic dominance is damaged and other countries will continue to move forward. US needs to right it's ship.

The British Empire also declined but Britain is still there. There aren't barbarian hordes waiting at the gates (just Mexicans). Even a weakened American is still a world power.

Russia should talk. What's their stock market down these days, something like 80%? Not to mention their negative population growth, rusting military and outrageously expensive to live in urban centres.

other countries are doing as bad if not worse than we are.
we will likely be the first country to come out of this recession. the dollar has been rising against other major currencies, a good sign in foreign confidence in our economy.

So it is the same guy as last time? I like that he pretty much divided the US up and gave it to canada, russia, china, Mexico, and the EU. Texas going to mexico will be a blood bath 😛
