He might have, they might've been outside (since the inside was staffed by police, including the one (off-duty?) that killed him).

The off-duty policemen was the killer and from the Video the killer was preaching for 55 secs after he shot 8 times the Ambassador.

There was no other security in the room at the time, only the killer the press and the guests.

It was a press conference.
The whole thing was recorded 1080p.
You can see the ambassador close up in his face while he gets shot in the back.
And then a rant of the killer. All being filmed. As if it was a press conference.

Russia understands what this.
There will not be a WWIII.

Now the attack in Berlin, that's more serious news today.
 
The shooter is most likely a member of the Gulenists who had penetrated the police and the judicial system and attempted the July 15th coup. This guy is one of their sleeper cells.

What Oric lacks in evidence for his conclusion he compensates with absolute confidence in his conclusion. He won't move a fraction of an inch from what he posted above. It is set in concrete. It is a done deal. It will be fascinating to see how he fleshes out the fantasy conspiracy.

Turkey is due to implode. The only country they hate worse than the US is Russia. Looking forward, I wonder what we'll have to give them in order to keep our base there.

If Russia invades Turkey over this, should America and NATO stand aside? Turkey and the western world have never been further apart in the modern era.
