So I'm sure all you guys would be fine with Russia putting up "missile defense" stations in the Dominican Republic, right?
Don't mess in another superpower's sphere of influence. This will have blowback.
If the US was giving nuclear technology hand over fist to Russia?s enemies then I expect they would.
The need for the anti-missile system is 100% Russia?s fault by giving nuclear technology to unstable regimes that pose a threat to the US and Europe. They knew exactly what they were doing, knew it was wrong and did it any way now it is going to bite them in the ass and that is just tough. They will be gimped because of it and deservedly so!

Not sure you can say the same about the US.

Russia threatens nuclear attack on Ukraine
Russia has threatened to target the Ukraine with nuclear warheads if the former Soviet republic joins Nato and accepts the deployment of United States anti-missile defences on its territory.
The Russian and Ukrainian leaders had just held emergency talks in the Kremlin
President Vladimir Putin of Russia warned Ukraine's leader Viktor Yushchenko of "retaliatory actions" should his country join the Western alliance during a joint press conference in Moscow.
"It's frightening not just to talk about this, but even to think about, that in response to such deployment, the possibility of such deployments - and one can't theoretically exclude these deployments - that Russia will have to point its warheads at Ukrainian territory," he said
I think Vladimir Putin is way ahead of Bush on mad dictator points some one really needs to euthanize him before the idiot starts pressing launch buttons.

Who do you think has had and still have large numbers of scientists and engineers in Iran helping design, build, and run their nuclear facilities? Who do you think has been supplying them with the vital parts like centrifuges?
That would be Russia!
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia warned Iran on Wednesday that its development of rockets and continued uranium enrichment was creating the impression Tehran was intentionally ignoring the concerns of the international community.
"We do not approve of Iran's actions in constantly demonstrating its intentions to develop its rocket sector and continue enriching uranium," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian news agencies.
