I saw that shit all the time when I saked groceries in High School. People paying for a all thier groceried with foodstamps and then here comes the seprate stuff foodstamps won't cover: Swordfish, Lobsters. Then we go out and load them into a nice new Cadillac. It happend more than you think. It happened so much that more welfare is now paid on Debit cards so they can't spend it on crack.

The sad thing is that Limbaugh listeners are that stupid that they don't get that he's talking about cutting spending on them and cutting taxes on people who make a hell of a lot more than them.

This. Unemployment abuse is definitely a problem, but I see no way to fix it without first fixing the economy. If a city has 1,200 available jobs and 12,000 unemployed workers, there's no practical way to determine whom to brand a layabout. 12,000 of the most dedicated workers ever found cannot fit into 1,200 jobs.

Once the economy is fixed, debt really needs to be fixed by tightening credit. People who aren't in over their heads can follow the jobs, even if that means taking a loss on a house or renting it out while you live in a cheap apartment or trailer. But when 90% of the country is in the same boat, even those in good financial shape often can't do this, even without the housing bubble. We can't ALL move to North Dakota.
