I'm hoping he will donate it to a gay rights organization.

As for Elton John, there comes a point where I just have to say, you people are all idiots. On one hand you lefties believe we should all be one big happy integrated society, while on the other hand you think everyone should isolate themselves and only be around those who are like-minded. Boycott the rest of the world! Maybe the subject of gay marriage is not that big of a deal to either of them. And if it's not, then so what?

I know if there was a million dollars on the table it's damn sure not a big deal to me. Believe people should be able to marry goats or only carefully selected and color-matched spouses picked by reading chicken entrails, I'll cash my check and even agree with your right to your own opinion. I've sen Elton John and he was good - he wasn't a million dollars good, but if Limbaugh thinks he is and John agrees to perform I certainly have no problem with it. Well, other than generalized regret at my total lack of musical talent. I could be DAMNED flamboyant for a million bucks. I just can't be talented.

Money aside, on WGN radio this morning (mainstream news not hyper-partisan) people were calling in going back and forth on this issue of Limbaugh, Elton John, and gay marriage. Not surprisingly see it here on this forum too.

When removed from the hyper-partisan rage machine, the world is actually a pretty decent place. I think.
