i got a problem when trying to run a game. it says

Runtime error!

r6002
- floating point support not loaded.

the game is football manager 2010

i dont know if this might help but if i install ccleaner it starts and quits immediatly and the ccleaner files are automatically deleted for no reason😱 and also daemon tools stops working after a few restarts. do any of u guys know whats the problem?

The ccleaner stuff disappearing makes it sounds like you might have picked up a virus or rootkit.

You may want to download a copy of SuperAntiSpyware or Malwarebytes to attempt a scan. If you try to install them and they are immediately disabled (or if they die in the middle of a scan), you can pretty much bet on a virus/rootkit problem.

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php

http://www.superantispyware.com/downloadfile.html?productid=SUPERANTISPYWAREFREE

In the event you can't get one of the above to run (lots of viruses/rootkits watch for them and disable them automatically), you can create a UBCD Windows Live CD from the ISO file at the following link:

http://download731.mediafire.com/xv22cy599lzg/jwgarmkfezd/UBCD4WinV360.exe

Burn the ISO to a CD, boot from this CD, and select the option to run UBCD. When it asks, accept the default shell. Once the WinPE environment boots, go ahead and start the internet connection when asked. Then look under the start menu and under Antivirus run SuperAntiSpyware. It will update, and you'll be able to scan your computer. When the box pops up asking where to scan, browse to your "Windows" directory on your "C:" drive.

thanks steltek for pointing out the links. i downloaded both malware bytes and superantispywar. malware bytes didnt detect anything but superantispyware spotted 7 adware tracking cookie and 2 flashadware tracking cookie. do you think these might cause problem. also this if i turn the show hidden files and folder option on it automatically turns off. i also cant use the safely remove hardware option for my pen drive. i use smart virus remover and it cant remove the virus from the pen drive and i also cant format the pen drive

i tried and the softwares worked. there was was no serious infections but still i am having the same problems. i formatted the whole comp but i still have those problems i mentioned

This isn't a Windows or operating system problem. This is a problem with the game software. If you put "football manager 2010 runtime error" in your google search you will find a ton of people having the same exact problem. Formatting your computer and reinstalling your OS because of one buggy game software is not the best way to go.

it is saying microsoft visual c++ runtime library. the game used to work fine. it had these problems only now. as i said the game is not the only problem. ccleaner is not working and hidden files option is not working

what changes did you make to your system around the time this started happening? it would also help to know what OS you are running.

Nobody checked the MSKB?

Problem is a bug in the game. Nothing wrong with Windows, the registry, etc.

Why did it not show up before? Could be that this particular code path was not run before. Or a different order of the code path was run (something else that triggered the loading of the fp module before the buggy code was executed, and for some reason, now the buggy code is being executed before that). Or maybe this was a bug introduced by an update to the game. Whatever the case, this is a problem ultimately caused by the design and production of the software in question. Complain to the game maker.

Could also try installing the latest VC runtimes, but I doubt that'd do anything:
