Runtime Error 3706 - Provider not found

An app makes a call to the database. The call is supposed to process through the DLL for the provider.

Last resort is reinstalling/repairing OS. What else may cause this?

MDAC 2.8x

did you try reinstalling mdac?



mdac 2.8

or maybe just check it first:

mdac check util
