Quite frankly, new games suck. Im not sure whether to buy Dawn of War or not because I cant really afford to spend frivilously and I like my windows without bars on them (not the Microsoft kind).

I recently visited the Home of The Underdogs and downloaded a few golden oldies that I loved. To my dismay, only 1 worked despite all my efforts and swear words involving Bill Gates.

Now im stuck with a powerful PC yearning to play the games that I played when I was like 8 years old.

How do i do it? Cannon Fodder and Space Crusade (1992) are 2 games which id love to play again but my Amiga and the games are long gone so that option is non-existant.

I was thinking of a Dual Boot system with XP Pro controlling most of my PC and a smallish partition with Win95 or 98SE on so I can play those old DOS games. If i need CPUkiller or the like, only time will tell but at this rate, I can only get the greatest football game to ever grace this earth to work, SWOS 96/97.

Suggestions?

DOSbox sorted out Cannon Fodder. I wish Sensible Software was still developing, such an amazing game.

Space Crusade works but I cant get the mouse to work so its another problem to sort out.

DOSbox is nice and easy to use, especially with the list of games and compatibility/support.
