Tried running with my case open up today, and set my room fan (a small one) blowing at the open section,

my mobo temp dropped by 8 deg from 40 to 32 degrees, which i think is quite cool?
my CPU temp dropped 2 deg from 45 to 43 degrees.. this are the temps which they are usually at..

my gfx card, dont know the temp as it doesnt have a sensor..

I'm wondering will, doing this often spoil my system? i dont know how, maybe too much wind blowing on it? Doing this will also accumulate more dust more quickly correct? Do you guys recommend me doing this?

whaqt do u mean by spoil your system? Well how big and powerful is the fan? if its on constantly i dont think dust can settle in ur comp bc of the high cfm's

If you have to run with the case open and a big old fan blowing on the internals, you have big probs that you need to address correctly.

Is your CPU overheating? Graphics card crapping out? What's going on?

I think you just need to check more often for dust and stuff...but from what I've HEARD from other ppl, there aren't really any big problems with leaving the case open. Again, this is from what I've HEARD, not from personal experience. :)

The problem is with EMF interference. It you start getting crappy TV, radio, wirelss phone reception, it is due to the open chassis.

if u have a case open u will get more dust in it than if it were closed. With him, he has a huge fan constatnly blowing over his internals. I doubt alot of dust can collect in his comp with the high powered fan constantly recirculating air.
