Running SETI on home network.

I'm running a network without a server. I'm just using a ethernet router. Do I need to use SETI Quene for this also?

Don't have to but it is a nice touch.

It's not necessary. It does help if you have a number of PCs on the network, or you want to keep track of personal stats.

Yeah, we know how that works. I'd really recommend setting up a SetiQ for both the stats and for the ease of adding additional machines to the "herd/fleet". It's also a good thing if you lose your internet access so you've got a way to keep the machines crunching WUs and not sitting idle.

I'd agree with networkman, it is nice to have your own stats, and that knowledge that if you lose your internet connection, you will still be able to get WUs

I'd also recommend using SetiDriver on each of the computers as well, just so you can have that extra bit of coushining if your own network breaks

If you need any files look here (all hosted on my own cable connection, only 128kbps up, but better than nothing, and everything is in one place, and i will be adding a front page to that instead of just directory listings )
