Running SETI on home network.

I'm running a network without a server. I'm just using a ethernet router. Do I need to use SETI Quene for this also?

It's not necessary. It does help if you have a number of PCs on the network, or you want to keep track of personal stats. 😀

Or five, or six, or ten, or even more! :Q 😉

Yeah, we know how that works. 🙂 I'd really recommend setting up a SetiQ for both the stats and for the ease of adding additional machines to the "herd/fleet". It's also a good thing if you lose your internet access so you've got a way to keep the machines crunching WUs and not sitting idle. 😀

I'd agree with networkman, it is nice to have your own stats, and that knowledge that if you lose your internet connection, you will still be able to get WUs 🙂

I'd also recommend using SetiDriver on each of the computers as well, just so you can have that extra bit of coushining if your own network breaks 🙂

If you need any files look here (all hosted on my own cable connection, only 128kbps up, but better than nothing, and everything is in one place, and i will be adding a front page to that instead of just directory listings 🙂)
