Well I'm about 1 level from the end of hitman absolution and thinking about starting over.

What's new these days ? I've played bf3, moh, spec ops, few others. Doesn't look like anything interesting is out recently.

Want to play the a-10c game but I can't get a deal on a saitek x52 pro.

Anyone recommend something? Really enjoying Hitman but too bad it's gonna be over soon.

If you like Hitman, then you should like Dishonored, since it uses very similar gameplay.

The Walking Dead is probably the best game out recently, but Borderlands 2, XCOM, Tropico 4, Fallen Enchantress, and FTL were all really fun games that came out recently too.

I have yet to install dishonored. I wasn't too keen on how the super natural powers work. I installed it before, played it a little then uninstalled it. I'll have to try it again.

Was a big Hitman fan and I'm glad after a couple of years I enjoyed what they came up with. I've gotten the silent assassin rating on every level but usually If you go this route there isn't more than one or two ways to go about the levels. Otherwise if you just want to complete the level, there are numerous ways.

Didn't like borderlands at all, dunno why. What's ftl?

How are the graphics in the walking dead?

I still have alan wake and I'm alive to complete too.

I'm like you with too many games that I play for a few hours then get bored with. I am much more picky than I used to be. For me the only thing I can stomach these days is BF3. I will likely be happy to play the new C&C game when it comes out though. If you havent tried far cry 3, do that for sure.

Yeah I beat far cry 3 before I started Hitman. The story and atmosphere of absolution really sucked me in.

Play the walking dead - its not about the graphics (its a cell-shaded look btw, like the magazine) its really good - I found it quite emotional actually

I've mostly given up on the gaming industry at large (which seems to be composed of basically EA/Activision and Facebook) and these days follow independent developers (I don't like the word indie, and it doesn't particularly describe them since many are actually veterans of the gaming industry at large), the mod community, and Kickstarter. It's how I found things like Minecraft, Mount and Blade, Terraria, etc etc. It's why we finally have a space sim resurgence (again, on Kickstarter).

It's telling that I haven't played ANY of the top 10 best selling games this year, save Borderlands 2 (but that's only because I did enjoy the first one). None of those incidentially would end up on any top 10 list of my own.

I've actually went another direction lately and have been playing Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii (via Dolphin). It is probably the best RPG (in terms of console RPG's) I've played in many many years. The graphics are pretty damn good in Dolphin at 1080p(with upscaling). You wouldn't see this kind of game being made on other platforms where the graphic whores are concerned about poly count.

Yes I realize this is the PC forum..but as with many of us, we have tons of backlog games (not just on PC).

Looks like darkness, dues ex I should check out. The rest I've played and beat or I didn't like them. I miss the game f22 lightning, had a great training module and missions. Not very advanced but had elements of sim and also action where you didn't need a crazy flight stick or spend hours trying to learn.

Def need to try the walking dead I liked bioshock 1 more than 2. Yeah I agree about trying out independent developer games, some turn out Great. I used to be very much into adventure games.

Remember shenmue on dreamcast, loved that game. They never did make a third one.

I don't know what episode I'm on but I'm at the drug store. Did they say when episodes 6 and so on come out?

Checked out deus ex and it didn't appeal to me to buy it yet. But I did pick up the darkness 2 although it looks weird. And I restarted hitman lol

You're still in Episode 1. The story ends with Episode 5.

We don't know yet when Season 2 (episode 6 and so on) will come out.

Correct - but you will be able to carry your save file over to the next season - so your choices will matter :)
