Biking costs a lot more but you get to see more stuff and actually go somewhere, and it's not as hard on your body.
 
Interval running for 30 minutes.

Biking is not as hard on your body. It all depends on which you'll prefer. After the High Intensity Interval Running, I have a feeling you'll want to bike, but I love interval running; I bike for the sheer luxury of it.
 
I ride by bike all the time. It's very easy to do it on the road, but it is very hard when doing unpaved trails with roots, rocks, branches...

I used to run, but @ some point I developed Plantar (whatever) and can't do it anymore.

Always enjoyed the bike though. Did about 20 miles or more today!
