Question running NiceHash on AMD 2200G APU, causes restarts and VPU failures. Newest 19.1.1 drivers. What gives?

I'm not sure that this is a CPU or GPU problem with the APU. Certainly, it seems like a power-delivery problem?

Why is it that there are certain loads that an AMD APU just simply cannot handle, and reboots? It's supposed to be a 65W CPU. I've got a 600W 80Plus Gold PSU. One 2.5" SSD, one 4TB 3.5" HDD. No dGPU.

I can't get through a full round of benchmarking in the NiceHash client, which is a required precursor to mining.

Edit: I manually stopped the benchmarking run after the CPU tests and the first few GPU tests.

These 2200G APUs suck for mining, both CPU+GPU portions going, making $0.02 / day? LOL.

Don't mean to stray off topic, but why are you even running NiceHash? Aren't the profits extremely low as you already mentioned?

Well, with the 2200G, it's like $0.02/day... combined... between CPU and GPU. It was more of a test than anything, to see if the APU could mine. Unfortunately, it seems to be placing too high a load on the Vsoc voltage plane, and causing the board to reboot.
