running mac os on a pc?

No...Although OSX is UNIX based and "probably" could be hacked to run on PC, Driver support would be zip squat not to mention the fact that Steve Jobs would put out an immediate cease and decist order from anyone putting out the hack. Although I myself would like to see it happen😀

Why do you say that? I actually wish that it would run on PC platform...At least would save me a few $ to run it on PC instead of upgrading my poor old mac(which I am actually in the process of) to run it..

Since getting my first Mac (iceBook 500mhz), Ive fallen in love with the Mac/PPC platform 🙂

I own two legal copies of Mac OS X (10.0 and 10.1 since Im impatient and didnt want to wait for my free copy). If it came out for x86 I would probably not purchase a copy since I have OSes I would rather use on that platform.

Can't say I argue with ya there..I've been using mac's at work for about 10 yrs now and have had a few here at home as well..Pretty solid machines albeit spendy to fix or upgrade. Actually, The first Apple I laid my grubby paws on was a Apple IIe running BASIC. Off topic question..Do you know if OSX supports scrolling mice?

The wheel in my logitech works with the OS if thats what you mean. It doesnt seem to work in Mozilla, but I never looked into that (I think there is an option or something for it).

Yeah scrolling works with OS X I just had to use it to scroll through all of those reposts 🙂

per topic: OS x can not be run on a PC and unless all hell breaks loose at apple, it will never happen. just buy a mac, you won't regret it.
