That's why you get 3. :)
(I'm the same way)

Can't stand dual screens. Rather go for a single large one, if I needed the space.

Personally, I find that the more space I have, the more windows I open and get distracted. I get far more coding done on a 13" laptop display than a 24" wide panel ;)
you must have photographic memory or you work on small projects. Personally I get the most coding done with 3 screens. 1 web browser, 2 code screens. With 2500+ code files it's best to have multiple files open at once.

2500 code files eh? What are you, an "enterprise java architect" ? ;)

Most projects I've worked on have, at most, had a few hundred files. Even then, though, I only had few open at a time. Navigating my way around the source tree was typically straight-forward, too.

that's cool. viewsonic support can be annoying. ahh the nostalgia. RA2 and Yuri's revenge were such good games.

Duals is a necessity now. I just feel way to cramped on a single screen.

Dell 2405 and Samsung 712N

yep, I love the dualies too, I have a pair of 19" Samsungs..way too much alt-tabbing is required for a single screen..but I have to make do sometimes

agreed. i do a lot of 3d modeling. i am currently doing suspension design for a formula-style autocross car. i have my spreadsheets and plots on one screen, and NX on the other. i wouldn't have it any other way. :)

I can see the issue for a FPS or something where the center of the screen has special significance... but for something like RA2 I don't see the problem ;)

I've been running three screens for quite some time.

No way in hell could I imagine going back to just two...
