Is there anyway to have Counter Strike Source open in a borderless window like other valve games do ? I don't want the border.

Dont you like fullscreen?

I want to run it full screen but in windowed mode borderless. Sorry for the confusion. Should of added full screen.

Do this with all my games so I can go back into them as quickly as possible. When running games in full screen they take forever to get back into. Well ok not forever but 5 to 15 seconds depending on what the game is doing at the time. Yes I already have enough ram 8 GB. Alt tab happens within seconds in full screen even the problem is going back into them quickly. The only way I am able to go back into a game within a second or less is by running them in full screen windowed borderless mode. At least at this time.

Ummmm, we are having confusions here. Full screen and windowed are different.

Are you saying you want a window that completely fills up the screen? And no border?

Yes like left 4 dead has. Though you can do it with other valve games even if there is no option in the game settings. I do it all the time. Tried with Counter Strike Source but it just shows a full screen window with borders around it. I do not want borders.

If you're running an ATI card the latest drivers speed up alt-tabbing in and out of games quite a bit.

Alt tabbing out is never a problem for me it always happens in 1 second or less. The problem is going back into the game.

Why are you bothering alt-tabbing? If you can't focus on a game, you need a second monitor.

Just tried -noborder on CS:S... didn't work. Apparently CS:S is the exception.

Uhh lets see, so I can use my computer while waiting for map downloads. I hate when I go to alt tab out, while waiting for a map download, then when I try to get back in I can't. Running in a full screen borderless window mode fixes this as well.

I don't know what you could possibly do in the short time it takes to load a map.
