Running a tv tuner and graphics card at same time?

Hey im wanting to get a WinTV-HVR-1800 MC-Kit for vista media center.

My question is do i have to replace this with my old video card or can i put the WinTV card in another slot and run both

i play games on computer so i dont want to take away my graphics card.

Video card and TV tuner are completely separate parts. They do not do the same thing. You need one of each.

Yeah, I think the 1800 has an analog and digital tuner. All the analog channels should work good though Media Center. You'll have to check to see if Hauppauge has a patch or something to get the digital to work in Media Center since Microsoft doesn't seem to support this.

Oh, I guess I should have asked what your TV source is first.
