running a small ftp

i have a extra computer in my house and im planning to run a small ftp server from it.....its a p4 1.6ghz 533 fsb....512mb ram...nothing crazy fast but it'll work....which os should i use? thx for the help

what os are you familiar with? guildftp is an excellent free ftp server program with unlimited use. just for the record, ftp doesn't require sh!t for power, a 533MHz would work fine.
