i'm thinking about gettina 7800gs from evga the super clocked one just for kicks... problem is my shuttle is at 300psu and thats the biggest one they offer for my case. so im thinking, is running my spare old one just connected to the Video Card a good idea???

thnks AT

Well, I don't know for your particular setup, but I'm running dual PSUs without a problem. I have the second PSU powering fans, hard drives, and cold cathodes.

A 300W PSU should handle it as long as you don't have stupid numbers of HDs. Worth a try, otherwise get yourself one of those ultra small 120W ones to power all the other bits and bobs.
