Run harder = less hungry?

So, I created a more aggressive running routine that incorporates sprinting. Since doing it, I have been less hungry and get full faster when eating. What gives?

I have noticed that cardiovascular training results in a strong appetite suppressant effect that can last for around 2 hours. However, once I begin eating (no matt how soon after), my appetite picks up very quickly.

This might explain it. Says cardio reduces appetite while weight lifting increases it. I'm assuming you're eating right after your workout routine? I believe in the long run, cardio can increase how much you eat.

Research for years has shown that cardiovascular exercise doesn't really do one or the other (increase or decrease appetite). It actually improves your hunger drive only to what you need for maintenance. So if you're eating too much, it makes you less hungry. If you eat too little, it stimulates your hunger.

Strength training doesn't necessarily do either in the research I've read. That article only mentions studies with a very low number of subjects so it doesn't necessarily represent a general trend.
