Those look fishy to me.
But then again with the war on Christianity these days, its not a suprise at all. They will get passed off as true and Christians will be the bad guys for the next week until they can find another "priest molestation" case, or come out with a new anti Catholic movie.

It looks like they are the top slide which itself may be unclassified though the overall classification is as indicated.
It is not at all unusual to see various quotations on the opening slide.

if there's anything well-known about the middle east it's how rampant secularism is there and how opposed to intertwining religion and politics they are.

Woah...way to move the goal posts!
You just went from "Secular" to "fundamentalist."

And you still think most are secular?
Saddam had one of the only secular governments in the entire region. The others are heavily influenced by Islam.
Just because they are all fundamentalist doesnt mean they are secular. There is a ton of space in between![]()

Uh, you are aware that "fundamentalist" and "secular" are opposite terms aren't you?

Fixed it for you. Go ahead and zero in on my typo instead of the fact that you claimed "most middle eastern countries are secular"
