Coordinating your wardrobe to not clash with others is rather intelligent in my opinion when you're being watched by millions of people.
 
Qosis is right. Only a complete and utter moron would not take care and spend the time to call every single person he knows, every single day, and ask them what they are wearing so as to make sure that morons like Qosis have nothing to occupy their time.

Keeping a simple wardrobe reduces stress in the mornings and having a couple spare ties of various colors (no patterns) in your office also eliminates clashing with other people in front of natinoal tv. Besides, do you really think people at this level really wear suits and ties when sitting at their desk? Their assistants probably take care of the minor details like which tie to wear for this press conference.
