What's the best method of preparation? It's on sale this week and I was thinking to get a few to throw in the freezer.
One of my favorite things to do with a roast is to brown it on all sides in a hot saute pan with a little bit of oil. Then I will slow cooking it covered in the over or in a crock pot with onions, potatoes and carrots.
The science behind browning the meat is called the millard effect and it gives meat more flavor.
